Dr. Angela Cherniak was born in Bloomington, IN and is a graduate of Indiana University. She completed her Bachelor of Sciences in Biology with a Chemistry minor as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a Psychology minor in 2009. She went on to attend Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Cherniak graduated with her Doctor of Optometry in 2013 following her externships at Eye Surgeons of Indiana and the Roudebush VA Medical Center.
For the last 13 years Angela has been practicing her passion in medical optometry and provides a combination of routine eye health as well as comprehensive medical eye care. She is board certified with the National Board of Optometry. She's a member of the American Optometry Association (AOA), as well as the Massachusetts Society of Optometry (MSO) where she sits on the executive board and the legislative committee. She has volunteered for various community organizations in the past and is excited to participate in upcoming charities to provide patients throughout the world with quality eye care.
Dr. Cherniak lives in the pioneer valley with her husband, daughter, and pack of pets! The Cherniak family takes full advantage of the area's beautiful recreational activities for every season. The family enjoys a variety of events & festivals throughout the year, including taking in a Red Sox game or heading to NYC for the weekend to take in the sites
